FIRST INTERNATIONAL TEARNING PROGRAMME FOR SECURITIES MARKET PROFESSIONALS 2007

In 2007 SAFE in Collaboration with National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) and BSE Training Institute (BTI) conducted a training program on various aspects of Securities Market. It was a five days training event held in Islamabad, Pakistan imparting knowledge from the basic securities issues to the advance investment and financial planning’s for the capacity building of executives associated with various spheres of the securities markets of South Asia. It had been designed to suit a wide range of professionals whether securities market operators, fund managers, investors or other financial practitioners.

The program was a great success as more than 50 participants from member countries and other international destination gained maximum advantage from the leading market professionals of market securities and left with a clear understanding of key drivers, players and features in the markets today, enhancing the opportunity for success in this increasingly complex era.

This thorough and interactive training program offered delegates a detailed grounding in the full range of securities market instruments.

In-spite of the diversity of the participants’ background and experience the training program was able to meet most of the expectations and SAFE holds a pride being the initiator of such broad spectrum and quality program.

Culture Orientation of Pakistan: A Gesture of welcome & Hospitality to initiate the Pakistan based training series

The first Pakistan initiative training program featured unique cultural orientation of Pakistan as being the host country and the permanent destination of all future training programs. Through this culture orientation Pakistan warmly welcomed the respected members of SAARC countries and provided a platform to interact and exchange views in a free and friendly environment.

The Participants taken to visit different historical and cultural cities like Lahore which is the heart of Pakistan, Salt mines of Khewra and ‘the city of Stones’ Taxila of Pakistan. The participants enjoyed and were energized by seeing the different flavors of Pakistan’s historic heritage and rich culture.

SAFE takes pride in facilitating the whole program so sophisticatedly that it made the event not only successful but unforgettable and marked another achievement in the name SAFE.

Through such initiatives SAFE facilitates participants in pursuing their ambition of a successful career in capital and securities market industry as they are the key players in achieving and enhancing the global cooperation and convergence to international standards in and out the south Asian region.
